Hey, I’m Francesca — storyteller, speechie-turned-soul-led explorer, and the founder of She Roams Free. I’ve roamed through over 30 countries, worked jobs that funded the dream (summer camps in the USA, pouring pints in the UK, au pairing in Italy), and discovered that travel isn’t just about ticking off countries — it’s about coming home to yourself, over and over again.

After 18 months living and working overseas, I came back to Australia with a messy heart, a full passport, and a deep desire to build something that blends freedom, connection, and adventure. Now based on the Gold Coast, I split my time between working in speech pathology, creating content for She Roams Free, and taking spontaneous van trips up and down the coast in my little beachside home-on-wheels.

This space was born from one big truth:

You don’t have to quit your job, sell all your stuff, or fly halfway across the world to feel like a traveler.
You can roam free on a weekend escape, a three-month sabbatical, or a year-long van trip — whatever your version of adventure looks like.

📍 I’m currently living by the beach on the Gold Coast in Australia

🧠 I have ADHD, and I’m learning how to work with my brain, not against it

🧜🏼‍♀️ I’m learning to surf and currently doing a scuba diving course
